I believe the stories we tell ourselves
shape the lives we live.
Whether I'm writing mystery novels, coaching women through life's hardest transitions, speaking to audiences around the country, or serving veterans and first responders through Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, my work is ultimately about one thing:
Helping people rediscover who they are -
and realize they were worth knowing all along.
I'm so glad you're here.

Escape to Summer Haven... where the mountains are beautiful and the secrets are deadly.

You don't have to figure it out alone.

Want someone who brings honesty, heart, and a message that stays with people? Book a conversation your audience will remember.
If you'd asked me forty years ago what my life would look like, I wouldn't have guessed any of it.
I never expected my journey to include military service, search and rescue, cybersecurity, breast cancer, corporate leadership, writing mystery thrillers, coaching women through life's hardest transitions, or helping veterans and first responders discover posttraumatic growth.
Throughout the years, none of those chapters seemed connected. They felt like unexpected turns, closed doors, and new beginnings I never saw coming.
Looking back, though, I see something very different.
Every challenge taught me something I couldn't have learned any other way. Every setback deepened my compassion. Every transition prepared me for the one that followed. And every experience gave me another opportunity to better understand people, resilience, and what it really means to live with purpose.
Those lessons eventually became the foundation for everything I do today.
Whether I'm speaking to an audience, leading a Worth Knowing™ workshop, mentoring someone through a difficult season, writing stories about ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances, or serving veterans and first responders through Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, my mission is the same:
To help people remember that they are more than what's happened to them.
I believe our past shapes us, but it doesn't define us. I believe healing is possible, growth is intentional, and that every one of us has a story still worth writing.
It's a privilege to walk alongside people as they rediscover who they are.
One I'll never take for granted.
Denise Sharpe doesn't do vague inspiration.
